Im Rahmen der Aufr\u00fcstung der Advanced Light Source ben\u00f6tigte das Berkley Lab eine Dichtungsl\u00f6sung f\u00fcr den Akkumulatorring. Das Upgrade erforderte eine UHV-Dichtungsl\u00f6sung, die f\u00fcr ein Synchrotron geeignet ist, mit einer Dichtung am Geh\u00e4use des Beam Position Monitor (BPM). Zu den Spezifikationen f\u00fcr die Anwendung geh\u00f6rte eine Leckrate von 1\u00d710<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">-9<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\"> cc\/sec He atm und Temperaturen von 25<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00ba<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">C Betrieb und 180<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00ba<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">C f\u00fcr 1 Stunde bei jeder Inbetriebnahme ausheizen. Dar\u00fcber hinaus ben\u00f6tigte Berkley Lab 4 Dichtungen f\u00fcr jede der 72 Baugruppen der Dichtung, also insgesamt 288 Dichtungen f\u00fcr die Erstinbetriebnahme dieser Anwendung.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Aufgrund der bestehenden Beziehung zwischen Berkley Lab und der Technetics Group sowie der mehrj\u00e4hrigen Beteiligung von Technetics an der Advanced Light Source \"Kicker Box\"-Baugruppe vertraute man bei dieser Anwendung auf das Know-how und die Branchenerfahrung von Technetics. Nachdem Technetics eingeladen worden war, eine Pr\u00e4sentation \u00fcber Metalldichtungen zu halten, erhielt das Unternehmen von Berkley Lab den Antrag f\u00fcr den Akkumulatorenring BPM.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Die HELICOFLEX\u00ae DELTA Dichtung wurde als optimale L\u00f6sung f\u00fcr diese Anwendung identifiziert. Sie verf\u00fcgt \u00fcber zwei kleine Rippen, sogenannte \"Deltas\", auf der Dichtungsfl\u00e4che. Die <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Die hohe Kontaktspannung in der Dichtungsbahn macht die HELICOFLEX\u00ae DELTA-Dichtung zu einer ausgezeichneten Wahl f\u00fcr Ultrahochvakuumanwendungen, die extrem niedrige Helium-Leckraten erfordern. <\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">Nachdem der Prototyp bestellt und die Abpumptests erfolgreich abgeschlossen worden waren, erhielt Technetics weitere Prototyp-Bestellungen mit der Erwartung, dass alle zwei Jahre MRO-Anforderungen gestellt werden.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n<section
