Wasserstoff wird in der Regel mit gr\u00fcner Energie durch Elektrolyse erzeugt, d. h. durch die Abtrennung von Wasserstoff aus Wasser im Wasser, wobei kein CO2 freigesetzt wird und es sich somit um \"gr\u00fcnes H2\" handelt.<\/p>\n<h2>Entwicklung des gr\u00fcnen Wasserstoffs<\/h2>\n<p>Entwicklung, Nutzung und Investitionen in umweltfreundliches H2 sind weltweit auf dem Vormarsch. Das Energieministerium der Vereinigten Staaten<a href=\"https:\/\/afdc.energy.gov\/fuels\/hydrogen_benefits.html#:~:text=Hydrogen%20can%20be%20produced%20from,stationary%20and%20transportation%20energy%20sectors.\"> die Vorteile von Wasserstoff hervorgehoben<\/a> Wasserstoff kann im Inland hergestellt werden... Eine Initiative, <a href=\"https:\/\/greenh2catapult.com\/#:~:text=ABOUT%20THE%20CATAPULT,hydrogen%20scale%2Dup%20by%202026.\">Green Hydrogen Catapult Initiative<\/a>Ziel ist es, die Produktion von gr\u00fcnem H2 in den n\u00e4chsten Jahren um das 50-fache zu steigern, bei Kosten von etwa $2\/kg. Das Stretch-Ziel ist $1\/kg. Da Gr\u00fcnes H2 als Energietr\u00e4ger verwendet werden kann <a href=\"https:\/\/www.activesustainability.com\/sustainable-development\/what-is-green-hydrogen-used-for\/?_adin=02021864894\">Energie- und Kraftstoffersatz<\/a> f\u00fcr Elektrofahrzeuge, Heizung, Elektrizit\u00e4t und m\u00f6glicherweise Z\u00fcge, Flugzeuge und Busse wird der Ausbau von Green H2 auf bis zu<a href=\"https:\/\/balkangreenenergynews.com\/expansion-of-green-hydrogen-changing-geopolitical-relations-irena\/#:~:text=Green%20hydrogen%20could%20cover%20up,global%20relations%20in%20energy%20trade.\"> 12% des Weltenergieverbrauchs bis 2050<\/a>. Fl\u00fcssige alkalische Elektrolyseure (AEL) sind seit \u00fcber 100 Jahren in Betrieb. Sie leiden jedoch unter der geringen Stromdichte (was gro\u00dfe Systeme bedeutet) und einigen inh\u00e4renten Sicherheitsproblemen aufgrund der Verwendung konzentrierter Lauge. Protonenaustauschmembran-Wasserelektrolyseure (PEMEL) haben sich als eine kompaktere Option herausgestellt. Sie erfordern jedoch den Einsatz kostspieliger und seltener Materialien wie Platin und Iridium, und einige haben in Frage gestellt, wie skalierbar diese Technologie wirklich ist. Sie verwenden eine Anionenaustauschmembran (AEM), die als Separator zwischen dem erzeugten H2 und O2 fungiert. Sie arbeiten bei hohem pH-Wert, was weniger Beschr\u00e4nkungen f\u00fcr das verwendete Material bedeutet, so dass kosteng\u00fcnstige Metalle als Katalysatoren und Stack-Komponenten verwendet werden k\u00f6nnen. Au\u00dferdem sind die Membranen in der Regel auf Kohlenwasserstoffbasis und nicht fluoriert, was ihre Herstellung billiger und umweltfreundlicher macht. Mustain, Ph.D.,<\/a> Professor f\u00fcr Chemieingenieurwesen an der UofSC, und ein Team von Forschern, darunter Mitglieder von <a href=\"https:\/\/live-technetics.pantheonsite.io\/\">Technetics Group<\/a>f\u00fchrte eine Reihe von Experimenten mit 14 kommerziellen und vorkommerziellen por\u00f6sen Transportschichten (PTLs) in der AEMEL-Anode durch. Die PTLs wurden aus rostfreiem Stahl und Nickellegierungen hergestellt. Das prim\u00e4re Ziel war es, die Eigenschaften zu bestimmen, die zur bestm\u00f6glichen AEMEL-Leistung f\u00fchren - d. h. Niederspannungsbetrieb und Produktion von gr\u00fcnem H2 mit geringem Energieaufwand. In der Studie wurden elf der PTLs - einschlie\u00dflich des leistungsst\u00e4rksten - von der Technetics Group speziell entwickelt.<\/p>\n<p>Das Technetics\/USC-Team entwickelte ein <a href=\"https:\/\/technetics.com\/de\/products\/feltmetal-porous-transport-layer-ptl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hastelloy PTL<\/a> mit einer Dicke von weniger als 300 Mikrometern (&lt; 0,3 mm) und einer Dichte zwischen 60-65%, die die besten Ergebnisse f\u00fcr die Wasserstoffabscheidung liefern w\u00fcrde. Daher wurde das Feltmetal FM515 von Technetics Groups auf eine Dicke gewalzt, die eine Dichte innerhalb des gew\u00fcnschten Bereichs ergab. Diese Eigenschaften erm\u00f6glichten einen niedrigen elektrischen Widerstand, einen geringen \u00dcbergangswiderstand und einen optimalen Wasser- und Sauerstofftransport, w\u00e4hrend die Oberfl\u00e4che gleichzeitig f\u00fcr die Abscheidung von Katalysatorschichten geeignet war. Die leistungsf\u00e4higste PTL erreichte eine Betriebsspannung von nur 1,64 V bei einem Betriebsstrom von 1,0 A\/cm2, und die Betriebsspannung war immer noch <code>&lt;<\/code> 2 V bei 3,5 A\/cm2.  Und die Zellen erreichten niedrige Spannungsabbauraten.
