ITER est une collaboration mondiale qui vise \u00e0 changer \u00e0 jamais la fa\u00e7on dont le monde produit de l'\u00e9nergie.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Technetics est fier de contribuer \u00e0 ce projet de grande envergure en fournissant les solutions d'\u00e9tanch\u00e9it\u00e9 m\u00e9tallique n\u00e9cessaires pour que le projet devienne r\u00e9alit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h5>ITER cherche \u00e0 red\u00e9finir la production d'\u00e9nergie<\/h5>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.iter.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ITER<\/a>\u00a0(\"The Way\" en latin) est un projet \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique international issu des discussions entre les pr\u00e9sidents Reagan et Gorbatchev \u00e0 la fin de la guerre froide. Le projet a d\u00e9marr\u00e9 en 2005 et pr\u00e9voit d'avoir son premier plasma d'ici 2025.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>ITER est un regroupement de 35 nations qui travaillent \u00e0 la construction du plus grand tokamak du monde, un dispositif de fusion magn\u00e9tique, en France. Parmi les membres figurent la Chine, l'Union europ\u00e9enne (UE), l'Inde, le Japon, la Cor\u00e9e, la Russie et les \u00c9tats-Unis.<\/p>\n<p>ITER ne construit pas le dispositif pour produire de l'\u00e9nergie, mais plut\u00f4t pour prouver la faisabilit\u00e9 de la fusion en tant que source d'\u00e9nergie \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle et sans carbone, bas\u00e9e sur les m\u00eames principes que ceux qui alimentent le Soleil et les \u00e9toiles. Cette \u00e9nergie est la fusion, cr\u00e9\u00e9e lorsque des noyaux d'hydrog\u00e8ne entrent en collision sous l'effet d'une chaleur et d'une gravit\u00e9 \u00e9normes. Ils fusionnent pour former des atomes d'h\u00e9lium plus lourds et lib\u00e8rent de grandes quantit\u00e9s d'\u00e9nergie.<\/p>\n<p>Pour cr\u00e9er cette r\u00e9action en laboratoire, il faut des temp\u00e9ratures \u00e9lev\u00e9es, une densit\u00e9 de particules de plasma importante et un temps de confinement suffisant. ITER cherche \u00e0 cr\u00e9er cela en utilisant un tokamak.<\/p>\n<h5>Comment fonctionnent les tokamaks<\/h5>\n<p>Les tokamaks sont une invention sovi\u00e9tique des ann\u00e9es 1960. Depuis leur cr\u00e9ation, de nombreux pays les ont adopt\u00e9s comme moyen de configurer un dispositif de fusion magn\u00e9tique. Les tokamaks exploitent l'\u00e9nergie de la fusion en convertissant la puissance m\u00e9canique, comme les rotations d'une turbine, en puissance \u00e9lectrique.<\/p>\n<p>Ce tokamak particulier est cependant un peu diff\u00e9rent. Les tokamaks les plus volumineux actuellement en activit\u00e9 ont un volume de plasma maximum de 100 m\u00e8tres cubes. Le tokamak ITER a un volume de 830 m\u00e8tres cubes.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Dans le tokamak se trouve une chambre \u00e0 vide en forme de beignet. Sous une chaleur et une pression extr\u00eames, le combustible hydrog\u00e8ne gazeux devient un plasma.
