Angus McFadden, directeur du d\u00e9veloppement commercial chez Technetics Semi, s'est joint \u00e0 l'animateur Tyler Kern pour expliquer comment la fabrication des semi-conducteurs \u00e9volue. M. McFadden dirige la d\u00e9couverte des technologies \u00e9mergentes et nouvelles chez Technetics, travaillant avec d'autres entreprises dans le cadre d'une initiative sur les semi-conducteurs.<\/p>\n<p>M. McFadden a constat\u00e9 la diminution de la largeur des lignes et de l'empilement des plaquettes dans les n\u0153uds de semi-conducteurs. Technetics travaille sur des largeurs de trois nanom\u00e8tres avec certains clients, mais \u00e0 terme, ils atteindront une limite physique d'environ deux nanom\u00e8tres. L'emballage, o\u00f9 les plaquettes sont empil\u00e9es pour am\u00e9liorer la fonctionnalit\u00e9 de la surface unitaire, est une autre fa\u00e7on dont le r\u00e9tr\u00e9cissement se produit.<\/p>\n<p>Avec ces avanc\u00e9es, l'industrie du jeu souligne l'importance des semi-conducteurs avec une utilisation accrue de la RA et de la RV. \"Cela exige une grande puissance de calcul, une grande largeur de bande et beaucoup de m\u00e9moire\", a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 M. McFadden. Les t\u00e9l\u00e9phones portables \u00e9tant le portail vers le monde, ces clients exigent \u00e9galement une am\u00e9lioration de la fabrication des semi-conducteurs. Les gens veulent des \u00e9crans \u00e0 haute r\u00e9solution et des taux de rafra\u00eechissement avec une plus longue dur\u00e9e de vie de la batterie, ce qui est une autre raison pour des semi-conducteurs plus petits.<\/p>\n<p>La r\u00e9duction de la taille signifie que les mat\u00e9riaux et la sensibilit\u00e9 \u00e0 la contamination changent, ce qui est li\u00e9 au nettoyage.
