La charge n\u00e9cessaire pour d\u00e9former plastiquement le mat\u00e9riau de la gaine est consid\u00e9rablement r\u00e9duite en concentrant la charge de compression sur les Deltas. La contrainte de contact \u00e9lev\u00e9e qui en r\u00e9sulte dans la piste du joint fait du joint m\u00e9tallique HELICOFLEX\u00ae DELTA un excellent choix pour les applications \u00e0 ultra-vide qui n\u00e9cessitent des taux de fuite d'h\u00e9lium tr\u00e8s faibles. Il n'y a g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement pas de risque d'endommager les surfaces d'\u00e9tanch\u00e9it\u00e9 des brides tant que les exigences minimales de duret\u00e9 sont
